LUCY'S SHADES

Lucy is funny with her sunglasses, she likes to put them on as we're getting out of the car to go anywhere. I brought her to my crew room and she had them on the whole time, everyone thought she was a movie star....she caused quite the stir!

TUBBY TIME

What's a tubby without a few bubbles? Thanks to cousin Ryan, Lucy has as many bubbles as she wants! He gave her a very cool bubble maker for her birthday....I think Daddy likes it too!

ONE FISH, TWO FISH....

We had a great day at the Moody Gardens Aquarium in Galveston. Lucy loved all the fish. We learned all about sharks and she stamped her Shark passport along the way. It was a nice way to get out of the high TX temps!

Lucy is really starting to talk, sometimes in full sentences. Recently she said to Kevin and Nana, " I really need that bottle. " Then as a dog appeared on the TV she said, " I see a puppy." She speaks extremely clear too! Her spoken vocabulary consists of puppy, Buddy, Mommy, Daddy, apple, Hi, Night, Bye, ball, What's that?, Who's that?, happy, and of course NO!!

She gives out goodnight and goodbye kisses by the dozens but is extremely stingy otherwise. Oh yeah, if she burps...or if you do...she will cover her mouth!

ANTICIPATION

Lucy and I spent the morning in the sun room watching the rain. It's a little windy but so far no major hurricane. I think Kevin is disappointed but I really don't want to lose electricity, it's still hotter than Haiti here!
